should I get a new real estate attourney?

I consulted with a real estate attourney in my area reguarding my wholesaleing business and he does not seem in tune with the whole idea of assigning contracts. He has 40 years experience in real estate law and he seems to know what he’s doing, but it seems to me that he does not like the idea of assigning contracts. What should I do? Should I get a new attourney who will work with me reguardless of his convictions?

I found out why he does not like wholesaleing. He says wholesaleing takes away potential sales from a licensed real estate agent. I tried to explain to him that I take the homes that real estate agents don’t want and find buyers for them. I think I’ll just go and find someone who does not let his convictions get in the way of his business.

Is he an attorney or just another Realtor?

Ask him how he likes you taking potential work from him and giving it to another attorney…then do it!
