I’ve closed many SS. This is the first I’ve been in this situation. First off my attorney sat on the deal for over a month, granted he went on vaction and was in court for a week. I’ve been given numerous extention by the bank. they want me to close end of month or they will close file and not reopen it. sheriff sale is schedule in 5days. I still havent used my ajournment(2) I attorney said he may be able to close in 10 days. Attorney keeps asking to request a disclosure from bank saying that they know the house will be flipped. There is nothing pretain to a non flip clause in payoff. the said just follow the closing instruction and that it. Attorney and title co. are still draggin there feet.
question: do you think the bank will still close during the ajournment period? Do I need a disclosure being the bank never requested one in the payoff letter? what to do?
at this point the money isnt the factor.(well it is,I am running a business) I really want to clear this homeowner up cause I"ve had this file for some time and homeowner has went through a lot. job loss, father passing, etc…
