Short Sale-Sell Timeline

For those of you who are experienced in short sales then flipping the property…what is your normal time line from the time you obtain a purchase agreement (seller in foreclosure, still in home) to the time you negotiate with the bank to arrive at an agreement?

That’s really hard to say because every situation and lender is going to differ. I really try to close all deals from start to finish within a 30-40 day time period. Most of the time I’m working on several deals at once so it’s important to me that none of them drag on for too long. I usually have an idea from the first few conversations with the lender if the process is going to move along quickly or not.
