Any one have a lender who they have secured a loan from that is familiar with how short sales work and is willing and able to finance one. Having absolutely NO LUCK!! I’m in Florida…have a short sale deal that expires on the 30th…404 purchase price…550 “as is appraisal”. Need referral to a good ss financing source.
- HEY is the owner out of the home all ready ?? AS you are right getting a loan company to loan on a short sale is hard !!! BUT if the owner was around you could may be do a owner mortage and then sell th e note i know a company that would buy the note
Getting the owner to do the financing is out…they are TOOO FAR GONE WITH FORECLOSURE AND other DEBTS…Would appreciate the name of the company that would buy the note…Thanks for the reply.

they only buy owner mortages not bank paper and how long tell they do the sale is it more than or at 30 days ?? and there other debts are of no concuren on this

school me on this owner held mortgage concept again…You’re saying owner does the mortgage…company buys the note…pay the loss mit dept…?? WOW!! If that’s the way to work it…I missed the boat on this one…won’t miss it on the next!!

THISwoulod be a short version of it with out all the paperworkings and the like !!! I have a contract with a company that this is what they do all day long but the buy has to go through one of there agents ( like me )

Have you tried local banks, private money, mortgage brokers. This should not be hard to get. This is treated as another loan as if you were buying a investment property. It shouldn’t matter if its a short sale. How is your credit, dti, etc. that goes into qualifying you? Is this where you are having troubles? Also…if you are having a hard time getting financing is it cause the LTV is to high with the work that needs to be done, so the banks are gunshy?
