I need some help with my first short sale. I got thr release of authorization signed and contacted the bank got the short sale packet sent to me. most of this info is for the mortgage holder to fill out. from me they are asking for hud 1, Acopy of the fully xeicuted contract of sale for subject property. Also, a copy of the estimated sales proceeds listing a breakdown of all colsing cost.
My question is on the sales contract is the contract to the bank or to the seller of the property?
And is the offer price the price that I am offering to pay the bank for this property on the short sale?
Where do I include repairs needed?
do I go to the title company to do this transaction?
I know I need a title search, and that has been done.
