Has anyone had experience with the Sheriff’s Dept. in Philly either as a Realtor or private investor?
Or can you tell me how Sheriff sales (foreclosed properties) are handled in your city/town and is it effective/productive?
I’m working on an REO deal and it’s taking forever to record the Sheriff deed. Is it me??? 
I have not, but am planning on going to the 12 Sep auction for the first time. What I do know is that they’re fairly rude on the telephone when I called them, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the customer service isn’t the best for you either.
So have you bought conventionally from the bank or did you buy at auction? I’m assuming you bought through the bank.
