I just read an article on MSN titled " Seven ways to get rich". It was all about investing in the stock market. It made no mention about REI at all. It even says that in order to get rich you have to take on more risk. In my opinion, learnng how to invest profitably in the market is more difficult and risky than REI. Am I missing something??
phlemboy - I agree with you and this is why I believe REI is a good investment alternative for my family. I feel you have more control of the outcome - if you do your due diligence and work hard your chances of succeeding increase. I like the idea that I have more influence on the outcome than in the stock market.
In addition I like the idea of dealing with people… They make the investment even more interesting…
