Is there any place where i can put my listings online where i can actually do the transaction online.
Ebay?
tomjones,
Just finished a few hours ago with a property we have that was up for auction on e-Bay. My reserve price was not reached, however there were well over 1000 hits from viewers and 27 watchers.
My thoughts were I did not expect it to sell on e-Bay, but for the price I paid to advertise it nationwide, it was well worth it, because I am still getting phone calls from potential buyers. Had the price been reached, then the winners deposit would have been put in a trust account with an attorney who would have completed the deal.
So, I would say yes, you can actually do the transaction on line for the most part.

from my research no auction that you do on ebay is actually legally binding
don’t let ebay deter you in terms of legality. anyone who wants to back out of a transaction will do so and it doesn’t matter what kind of contract etc. you have…

actually i have been told that there is a site where the buyer or seller are protected if anyone backs out of a deal because there is a contract that must be signed before entering into the bidding and the whole transaction can be done online
