Don’t bother with an escrow account, just don’t cash the check until your buyer completes settlement.
just the contract ask for an escrowee and since the buyer has an attorney I do not want him to advise against the purchase because of this.
Your title company should be able to act as escrow. Given your experience, it’s not a good idea to engage in such a transaction without legal representation, especially when the other side has an attorney.
