I have collected a bunch of information about self storage. I feel that I have a pretty good idea of what I am getting into for someone who has never broke ground or owned any units.
The numbers I have heard and seen all come in around $16-$25 per sq. ft. is this a realistic cost?
A lot of it depends on how you build it. ie: gates, fencing, controlled access, security cameras, etc. You have to look at your land costs as well.
I am new here and someone refereed me to this place. My cousin brother is going to Hawaii but he has to put their stuff on some Baltimore storage place. I haven’t heard of this place and want to know if it’s safe to store our stuff in these types of storage place.
