Does anyone on this forum knows the process of increasing rents to section 8 tenants? I have tried sending the increase forms in to no avail.
Rents can only be raised after the initial one year lease is up. A couple of months before each year’s renewal, Section 8 should send you a letter about the pending renewal. At that point, you can raise the rent (as much as Section 8 will allow).

I have sent them a new lease with the increased amount and they sent me a check in the mail with the old rental amount. Maybe I need to place a call with them.
