I live in Cali and I am looking to buy properties in the Atlanta area, because of the low cost of rehab units and the great number of good deals. I have been looking to get partners to go 50/50 on some of the higher repair multifamily rehabs.
I get a number of good deals from various sources but my obvious weakness is that I am not there to look at the properties. Can anyone tell me what are the do’s and don’ts of dealing with partners in another state. My concern is how to prevent being cheated out of some good deals.
