REO Deals

Are most of you wholesalers locking your contracts under the asking price? Or any of you getting deals under what is typically being paid for in the subject area? I just secured an end buyer who first told me he was looking for fixxer-uppers and homes he could hold and rent out. I found a home that i put an offer in at 70k. If the bank accepted it i would have wholesaled it to him for 85k. Mind you the interior carpet and paint has already been applied. It could use a little landscaping and the fence needs to be fixed, oither than that its move-in ready. Why wouldn’t he want it?

What’s the house worth? what would it rent for?

Most importantly- how much is your end buyer willing to pay for a similar property in that neighborhood? why not call him up and run the numbers by him and then go from there…
