I got a call from http://www.metrosocialservices.org/2005/FosterCare.htm regarding renting a 4/2. They get county/state money and have teen fosters who are supervised 1 adult per 2 teens. Seems like a good thing from a revenue stream point of view but i’m wondering about damage to the unit? Anyone have any experience with Corporate Foster Care?
Those types of kids are the ones that burn stuff and torture animals. Another thing to consider is that foster children are a protected class under the Fair Housing Act.
Thanks, I also learned that due to the nature of the use of the property it would invite more inspections. Aside from my rental license inspection, i’d have the pleasure of the fire marshall inspecting and another from the city for the license of the foster care. No thanks. Not that I run a dump but I don’t need all that supervision.
