Rehabber looking for a good contractor

Hello All:

Im a rehabber in Atlanta area looking for a good contractor that has experience dealing with rehabs and tight deadlines. I have a great drywall and electrician but looking for a contractor that has all the necessary connections for rehabbing a home.

Also can anyone recommend a service when gutting out trash from a rehad home. Do you normally rent out a dumpster? DO you need a permit for that??

I cant help you with the contractor however as far as the dumpster…you just call your local rumpke or other garbage company and they will drop off and pick up a dumpster for you. They just charge you for how long you want it and the size.

You have to know the right people, I actually know a couple of guys that do just that for a job. They go into forclosures, rehabs, old estates, etc. and just clean out all the stuff. They make there profits many times by selling the stuff they find in these homes.

You’ll have to check with the city of Atlanta regarding permits. If a permit is not required for the dumpster, it is a huge red flag for the folks that issue building permits!

Thanks for the information. Yes this is my first flip. Trying to get all my ducks in a row.

Contractors,lawyer,accountant,agents,etc. Just want to make sure I can rent out a dumpster and have it on property w/o permit.

Also again trying to put together that super team of home improvement specialists.
