Registered Agent in Delaware

Does anyone know of a good registered agent to form an S-Corp in Delaware that is reasonable? Thanks!

?

not sure what you’re asking for?

My sister and I are going to form an S-Corp in the state of Delaware. We do not live in Delaware, so it is mandatory to have a registered agent. I have found several different websites on them by going to the state webpage, but I thought someone here might be working with one that they might recommend. Thanks!

Why are you forming in Delaware if you don’t live in Delaware?

http://www.delawarebusinessincorporators.com/s.nl/it.I/id.83/KB.62/ctype.KB/.f?sc=11&category=11 You can check out that link. It explains the advantages of incorporating in Delaware. Over 60% of the Fortune 500 firms and more than 50% of the companies traded on the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ are chartered as Delaware corporations.

Are you planning on going onto the Fortune 500? NYSE/NASDAQ?

What is the prupose of the S-Corp that you are forming?

It’s no real concern of mine, I suppose but I’m just curious…

real estate investing
And yes of course I want to be in the Fortune 500!

Why would you not just form an LLC in your own state and set it up to be taxed as an S-Corp?

How much investment property do you own?

The costs to incorporate in Delaware are some of the cheapest in the country. If your business doesn’t conduct business in Delaware, you’re not obligated to pay Delaware corporate taxes. However, it will be required to pay a franchise tax each year. Delaware has a separate court system for corporate law that doesn’t involve juries. The advantage of this is that companies don’t have to worry about juries deciding corporate cases. Instead, a judge who is familiar with corporate law overseas the case. We are just thinking about incorporating here. We have a lot of information to go over still. We are just getting started with our first investment. We want to get incorporated first. We have big plans!
