Realtor may have found me a T/B.......what fee is appropriate?

Hey all,

A realtor that I have worked with might have found me a rent-to-own tenant. I would gladly pay him for his referral as everyone needs to get paid for work. However I have no idea what to pay him for the lead. Do I treat it like a birddog fee and maybe offer 500 bucks? Maybe that’s to high? To low? Any thoughts,

Nate, the norm here in Ohio for Realtors finding just a renter is one months rent amount. I think this would be neg. according to the agent’s broker(at least my broker would need to be part of it) ;D and them. If you give them other business, than even more negotiable. I would ask them what is fair to them.
