I am seeking information about a process invovling Real Estate. I and 2 other families own approx. 400a. of undeveloped land. We would like to assure ourselves that the land in not developed. I know I can go the conservation easment route, but would like to learn if these is such a possibility of creating a property trust, where all 3 families can put their property under the same entity. The long range plan for the entity would be to creat a historic district and make the property available tovisitors and the like. Something similar to the Amish Village, but on a much smaller scale. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
I would investigate setting up some type of charitable organization and have the families donate the land to it.
