After buying the Carlton sheets program I felt that I still lacked the proper education for Real Estate Investing.
I would like to have some advice on what the best preparation for a Real Estate investing career should look like. I still feel I have so much to learn
Read all the threads here, right back to the beginning.
Look up all the real estate definitions and abbreviations that you don’t know.
Do this every day.
Get the books recommended on this site. The public library is free.
Start saving money and sanitizing your credit.
Keep your job.
This will all take some time. If your interest holds (not everyone is cut out to be a real estate investor) then start a written plan of what you are going to do to succeed in real estate investing.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Find your local REIA. Your REIA and this REIClub website are two great resources…learning is good and necessary…but investors who make offers - get deals!
tomcatt86,
I think the Carleton Sheets program is a very good basic program. It actually gives you what you need to at least get started. But there are some other books that are very helpful.
Get Propertymanager’s book. “One Minute to Rental Property Riches”.
“The Millionare Real Estate Investor” by Gary Keller.
“The ABC’s of Real Estate Investing” by Ken Mkelroy.
Love you work on the Moon! :cool (had to say that)
I highly recommend this book if you want to create wealth from Real Estate and not just a job.
I say this because some just wholesale, or fix and flip and never end up with more than a broken down Pick-up truck and some rusty tools.
This is a book if you really want to become a wealthy Real Estate investor and not just tell people “Yeah I work in the Real Estate Field”
“Buy & Hold 7 Steps to a Real Estate Fortune”- New 2007 Edition
(Paperback) by David, Ph.D. Schumacher (Author)

College I attended 3+ years ago. Plus I try to learn more everday and network as well.
