Real Estate Options or Pre-Foreclosures?

Well as most of you know I am no stranger to Real Estate, but I am a stranger to actually putting my knowledge to use. I’ve made the commitment to study my butt off and get a deal done in 90 days.

My question; what would be better for an REI with little cash and no credit, options trading, or pre-foreclosures? I just bought Lucier’s book about options and it seems like it is a lucrative business but requires more money than pre-foreclosures which pretty much require no cash upfront. I am thinking about buying his pre-foreclosure book instead and trying to get a pre-foreclosure deal done. Let me know what you think.
