Has anyone out there been involved with escow companies and brokers in dealing with real estate notes? The scenario is as follows; you invest xxxxx dollars in real estate loans. These loans are standard 30 year conventional loans. The term of the notes range around 30 business days. In return for your investment you get a ballon payment as your return on investment. You get your profit after escrow has closed and recorded. I have heard that this is a hush hush business in the escrow/brokerage field as it is very lucrative and they like to keep the profits to themselves. Any input on this would be great!
