The last 6 months i have stated to buy appartments in Dubai, for the main reason it offers alot of great things i look for in buying property, ie low deposits, repayments covered , positive cash flow, etc . Lately it has got better because of certain law changes , it really is safe and secure, i use a developer who has a 28 yr old track record, Buying abroad is not evryones ideal situition but if you would like some help in knowing more , i will be glad to help.
I HAD LOOKED INTO THAT ABOUT 3-4 MONTHS AGO. I FELT A LITTLE GUN-SHY B/C OF 1)MY EXPERIENCE IN REI AND 2) THE FACT THAT IT IS ABROAD. MY HUSBAND AND ACTUALLY WANT TO MOVE THERE IN THE NEXT 5YRS. HOW DID U MANAGE TO PULL THIS OFF?

kind of suspicious as its your 1st post and you’re asking people to call you for “help”. Are you sure you’re not a promoter of these things?
not that there’s anything against this, but the point of this forum is to help people. why don’t you give us exact numbers of what YOU’ve done so far.
and what are the recent law changes?
I used a agent fro the u.k for the first apartment, which was a nightmare, company called key2dubai, alot of lies, took your money and left me with alot of problems, but managed to overcome them , i got in contact with the developer and explained what happened, they were great more than helpful. So i use the developer for future investments.
I know when you have 1 bad experience in RE its hards to trust anyone , but dont let it end your future in RE investments just have to do your homework before you commit yourselfs.
I am also thinking of moving to dubai in about 3/4 years so thats another reason why im buying there, its an amzing place.
You have 5 yrs that is more than enough time to get together capital for buying your home there, for example if you invested in 4 apartments at a cost of no more than 30,000gbp in 2yrs on completion that would have turned into more than 200,000 profit no joke, or you can keep them and make return of around 25,000 per year , and will grow after the 2nd year.
To give you my background im only 28 and been investing just over a year , i have a portfolio in excess of 1,000,000 gbp, and growing. I would like to give someting back to people who want to be helped , thats all i want .
Hi , i can see how you can be suspicious but im truly 100% geniune , i know its my first post but you have to start somewhere. Before i put figures down i wanted to see what interest i got, because they stack up so good it will be hard for people to believe me.
Im not a agent or anything like it, just a young investor , trying to give something back for all of what i have recieved , which to be truthful im am finding it hard for anyone to listen, but doesnt matter im learning how to get myself accross ,not the best at the moment, but i will.
Anyway thankyou for posting a reply.
well i’m interested. what are the legal issues with buying over there for european and US investors?
Yea, I am interested as well. Just because everything I read/watch about Dubai talks about its massive growth potential and foreign as well as domestic investment going on.
Guy I know lives over there and loves it
I am very interested in purchasing in other countries. I’ve been investigating the Phillipines, Spain, and Jakarta. There are pros and cons to each. Spain is actually not too expensive in some areas. Jakarta and the Phillipines are having political issues, so I’m not sure it’s safe.
I’ve seen postings in other forums on Dubai, but am not sure who to trust there. From what I’ve heard, it seems very much like the U.S in many ways.
Here’s a link about investing in Dubai. I got this website from a legitimate REI newsletter I receive. Though I’m still doing my research on it, I think this is a pretty thorough website.
Hope it helps
