To be a real estate investor, you’ve got think like a businessman. or entrepreneur, is a control freak - they want to figure everything out and have the satisfaction of control.
What strategies are required to be used to become a successful RE Investor?
I have been in this business for a few years and suggest you start right here, on this site, I started by reading the information listed on the left about real estate investing. It will take you hours to read them but it’s worth every second!

The truth is that REI is a business. To be successful, you need to understand basic business principles and then come up with a realistic plan to get from where you are now to where you want to be. There is no “SECRET” to operating a real estate investing business.
The key to any successful business is to generate a profit. You must understand the real world expenses with whichever segment of REI you are involved in and ensure that your income exceeds those expenses. This seems obvious, but lack of cash flow is the number one reason that the vast majority of new businesses fail.
