Definitely came to the right place. You also want to check out and visit local REI clubs. Networking with other investors in your area will be very helpful.
If you’re just starting out, safe is better than sorry. And don’t overload yourself with too much info. You’ll make yourself crazy.
Choose one technique to start with, learn it, do a deal or three, and move on. I suggest starting with options and lease options. That’s my own personal bias, of course. But they are relatively easy to understand and put to work for you.
