Hey guys, I’m a sophmore in college right now. I’m thinking about taking golf as an elective for this fall. I was wondering, has golf helped you in real estate? Have you done any deals on the golf course? Thanks for your feedback.

nah. …it doesnt work unless you play golf with the millionaire outside of the elective, or on the field…
I know that, I was just wondering if you have done any deals on the golf course? It could be profitable to go out with some guys from the REI club and hit the ball around.
Dave,
I’ve done a couple of deals on the golf course. Couldn’t happen at a nicer place.

I looked into golf and here is what I did (TRUE STORY)
I thought ok I will spend $3,000.00 on a set of good clubs
at least $2,000.00 in lessons to learn how.
$10,000.00 playing golf to get really good.
plus hours and hours of time to get really great at it!
TOTAL COST… $15,000.00 plus unknown amount of hours!
Where would that get me?
Eventually I would go to a tournament and win a trophy!!
So I called a great trophy company Laserworks and bought the darn trophy for $48.00 and have it on my desk as a reminder to save time and money!
So NO I do not play! PLUS LOOK AT THE TIME AND MONEY I SAVED!!!
If that was your approach to golf, PLEASE don’t invest in real estate.

I got in a quick 18 holes the other afternoon. Beautiful sunny day - perfect. I didn’t do any deals, but I did get it in the clown’s nose and won a free game!
But why would you not endure the frustration that the rest of us enjoy when we knock ball after ball into the water and then pay another $40 next weekend?
Sorta like when I got out of hockey because I noticed that all the players were starting to weigh about 80 pounds more than me and they were also developing a nervous tick. ugh
