Ive heard countless times that a real estate agent can do wonders for your business. So i finally came face to face with one and she asked me what exactly could i do for her. :rolleyes I started stuttering because i didnt know.

as a wholesaler, since you are working with deeply discounted properties, you won’t be doing anything with people that want full market price for their home. So you can approach the realtor and tell her that “as an investor i only will be working with people who are selling their home well below retail value, but a good percentage of the people I talk with will want full market value. So i can refer those leads to you.” also, if you aren’t working with short sales then you can refer the upside down people to her as well.
basically you will be sending leads her way of people you can’t work with

Do note that she will not be able to pay you for the leads or the business she successfully handles. She can be your best friend and the person she will call when she has a lead that fits your target.
You are right i would say a good agent is one that stays involved in your selling process, helps you to avoid any hurdles, markets your home efficiently both off and online, and is honest when it is time to drop the price, etc.
