I too am in a similiar boat, I need to purchase my siblings shares out of the family home currently in a trust. I offered a very fair compensation package that was acceptable to my siblings, not knowing we couldn 't qualify because of a BK filed in 2011. I am only trying to hold on to the family home, we are currently living in, we know the home is worth more than $100,000 above what is owed so it could be a decent amount of equity as well. I am unsure what a private investor would want compensation wise, however I need someone that would be fair and trustworthy. Hoping someone out there can help, location is Mission Viejo, CA.
