Sure hope someone has answers to all these questions and, yes, I know I should consult an attorney.

If you have an LLC do you put title in the name of the LLC or a land trust?
Do you get a loan in the name of the trust or LLC?
If your LLC is in a state other than the property do you have to register your LLC in that state?
Would a business license be in the name of the LLC or trust?

I am going to be purchasing multi units for long term hold.

Yes. You register in both states and pay 2 annual fees and 2 registered agents.

It depends on the state. Sometimes the license will be in an individual’s name.
