Question on wholesaling...

If I enter into an options contract with a seller, and then want to turn around and sell that option to someone, is it my right to do that as the option holder or do I have to write something in the option contract saying I have the right/ability to sell the option to someone else, a rehabber for example?

Thanks
Christopher

Make sure that the contract allows you to assign it. If it’s not in the contract already, when you write your name, be sure to put “and/or assigns” next to it.

Thank You.

In some instances where you cannot assign you can add a buyer on to the contract and then deed yourself off at closing.
