Putting my rental property on section 8

Hi guys,

I am new to this rental property thing. I am used to rehabbing properties and selling them. I am from the detroit, MI area and the market is really slow now. I have decided to start aquiring homes just to rent them out on section 8.

My question is, how do I put my properties on section 8 and what are the requirements? Any help will greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Go to the local huosing authority and ask for the sec. 8 packet.

Also, if you can find their local website they sometimes have regular informational meetings for landlords who want to rent to section 8 tenants.
