Thanks for your help Goldmine. I have another question to ask you if you dont mind. If i wanted to do a shortsale by purchasing a non-perfoming commercial note, and reselling the property back to the buyer, how could i go about contacting him before buying the note without getting in trouble?

It is illegal to scheme to buy a property as a short sale or short the note with the intent of enriching the original buyer by acting as a third party and selling the property back to the original buyer thus defrauding the original lender. (Note Holder)

To avoid trouble buy properties at arms length and sell the property at arms length!

Don’t do it or you may find yourself with a new friend called “Buba”!
