Property under Contract

Hello Everyone,
I’m new in the real estate investing arena. There is a process I’m not use how it works. Locking the property with a contract. This process is where I negotiate the price with the seller. Sign an agreement to buy the property from the seller. I then sells the contract to an investor. My questions is how is this actually done. Who is to analyze the property? If it would be me, how to? How would I know how much to sell my contract. I’m told this is the easy way to begin. Is there a book or article on such process.

You are talking about doing a contract assignment. You write a contract with the seller and then you sell it to an investor. There is not a set fee amount, it can be from 1-10K or more. Depends on how good the deal is.
