Ok guys, I need some advice. I have advertised in the Thrifty Nickel and American Classifieds as well as the second most circulated paper in town, and I have gotten zero calls. Not one. Should I be advertising in the “real estate for sale” section of these papers, even though I’m looking to buy? Anyone have any suggestions at all?
Listing in the For Sale sounds like a good idea, as many sellers will check that section to ensure that their property is still properly listed.
Also, obviously, the content and layout of the ad are crucial to it’s success. Perhaps try a couple different ad approaches, and monitor their success (or lack-thereof)… 2¢
