I have found seveal properties in San Diego that I would like to try and short sale and possibliy purchase to live in. Is there anyone who has done deals in San diego that might be able to give me some ideas on how to approach them? Any help would be appriciated?
I’ll probably get blasted for this reply, but why not go through a Realtor and let them do all the work for you. Many specialize in Short Sales. You can make any offer you want - the Realtor will get the commission anyway from the bank - it should not affect your offer. There are lots of Short Sale properties for sale on MLS in my area and probably yours too.
Just wondering, how did you find these properties were short?
If you can get a nice place in SD for a nice price - that would be great. Us Zonies love SD!
