I had a SS recently rejected by EMC Mortgage (subrime arm of Bear Stearns). I asked 60-65% ARV & showed them they would lose $15K by rejecting my offer. Soon after, Bear reported their largest loss in history.
Please name some of the lenders you’ve had success with negotiating short sales at less than 70% ARV (after repair value).
