Could someone please give me some information on the time scale for
a) buying land
b) constructing houses (6 5 bedroom houses)
c) marketing and selling houses

It is hard to put a time frame on your scenarios as there are to many variables.
a) buying land
If your paying cash, 24 hours? If you are financing, depends greatly on your criteria. 2 weeks to 3 months?
b) constructing houses (6 5 bedroom houses)
Your location will have a tremendous impact on this. Due to the housing boom…in some areas it may be 6 months to a year before they even start construction.
c) marketing and selling houses
Again location and desirability play a key role here. I think once new housing starts drop off there will be a greater demand for existing properties.
Just my opinion
The site is beside a busy road, with a view of Belfast Lough. There is a public car park beside it and nearby there is a university and a small town. How much would this affect the time?
