Hey Just wanted to see if anyone who uses this site is going to the 2 day bootcamp in Austin,Tx. this weekend by Peter Conti? Maybe we can network or something.
Peter Conti? You mean the auto mechanic who never actually purched any RE? :shocked
so? he became millionaire and very successful at what he does.
Selling crap? :shocked He can show you how to do that well. As long as people are buying he should sell it. Just don’t tout him as a RE expert because he’s not. :beer
McDonalds sells crap, whats your point?
Besides, do you honestly think that no one made money following his system? he has magically fooled so many people. The problem with him is that he does not spoon feed you that is all.
having been to one of his 2 day bootcamps before I won’t be going… the info was too generic and it was a teaser for his coaching pg. and maui mastermind which cost like $15k…
I liked 2 of his books older books on lease options but I stopped following him!
personally after done the r. allen, le grand’s and a few others I now kind of follow the smaller everyday in the trenches guys who aren’t gurus but simply selling a few niche ideas they have perfected…
I view robert allen, and kiyosaki as those who teach you business and investment in general to make you think outside the box and understand the big picture. People now a days don’t want to do the leg work and figure things out, they want it to be handed to them. and granted, such information is now available online and through courses.
But not everyone understands and see the big picture, and not everyone succeeds. As far as the cost goes, it is all relative. He is not after wholesalers and 5 houses a year fixer uppers.
By the way, I am not a fan or student of him. I just learned not to discredit someone who has made something out of himself for no reason. I believe most that succeeeded have succeeded because they have done something right.
If his success is based on info marketing, then that is a business model to consider and might be worth looking into.
What they do right is sell. Like I said, There’s nothing wrong with that. The problem I have is that he portrays himself as an expert when he isn’t. If he told you he effectively markets generic info so he can make HIM rich. Would you buy his product? As long as someone wants to buy, then sell it to them. I do like Kiyosaki’s books. I seek the type of education from experts who give you the fundamentals so you can find your own way. Some actually have models to follow and they can be helpful but you have to know the fundamentals so you can adapt a formula for your own success.
I was actually thinking of going to his 2 day seminar, but im not sure now from what I see on this forum. Is there a good book or course that would teach me how to do lease options?
are you in Texas? if so, talk to a real estate attorny or check Texas law regarding lease options first since we have very strict laws here.
