ok i found a vacant house near where i live thats in need of some repair…it looks like a good rehab i noticed this house because im a big fan of classic cars and it used to have an old 2002 bmw inthe drive way that had not moved in about 5 years or more…the garage was also cracked open for at least 6-7 years…well now the cars gone and i want to contact the current owner and possibly make an offer if their interested but the deed still has that house as the current owner address so im thinking he may have possibly passed away? what can i do to find out who i need to talk too…i heard there was a truck out there today but i dont really want to door knock if the guy did pass because i feel like id seem like a vulture to them so id rather send a letter…
so any advice on what i should do?
YOU CAN TALK TO PEOPLE WHO LIVE AROUND THE HOUSE
OR
YOU CAN SEND A LETTER TO THAT ADDRESS. USPS WILL SEND IT BACK TO YOU SAYING IT IS UNDELIVERABLE, BUT MOST OF THE TIME THEY WILL PUT THE NEW ADDRESS.
GIVE IT A SHOT.
Dan
thanks will do…
go to the local courthouse and look in the probate files for that owner or look up siblings to find info
You can find out were the last tax bill was sent.
