Overseas Property Owner to Assign Deed to Texas Land- HELP!

Property in Texas has several years of taxes due. I what to have the owner, who lives in Taiwan, to sign a deed over to me.

What would be the proper steps to achieve this legally. Would the signature with 2 witnesses (not a notary) over there be accepted here?

Any remarks will be greatly accepted.

Why don’t you check with the County Recorder’s Office (where the title transfer would be recorded) and also with a Title insurance company for the answer. They should be able to give you specific requirements. Are you going to get title insurance?
