Does anyone have an easy way to identify properties that are owned by people who live out of town?
You can probably buy a mailing list from a list broker, but you should also see if you can subscribe to or borrow someone’s service…I use RealList, which allows me to pull a list of non-owner occupieds with a few clicks, and I don’t pay per record. This is for Georgia.
What state are you in?
In my county the tax assessor has a site that lets me search property by address, owner name, or a bunch of other things. I either search specific streets and look at the owner of each one, or search by common out of state owners like LLC or INC.
