You’re certainly right! We should expect to see runaway inflation at some point in the near future as the value of our dollars has been greatly diminished. This is the way all fiat money systems end - in collapse!

I’m worried about eventual inflation too, but I don’t know if the dollar is going to collapse. I believe the Euro has been faltering lately. For the dollar to collapse, doesn’t there have to be another safe haven currency that wealthy people around the world shift into? I don’t think there is one right now. Having said that, putting a small part of your portfolio into gold, real estate or other non-dollar assets might be a good idea.
