Novice Real Estate Investor

I’m a novice real estate investor and very excited about getting started. I was wondering if you all could answer a question for me.

I realize that it’s not necessary to have a real estate license and that it is probably best to use the services of a real estate agent. Do you all recommend getting a real estate license? Does it help?

Thanks,

Josh

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

:banghead: :bash: :cussing: :hammerhead: :anger:

(See, I told you I was going to scream if someone asked this again!)

Alright, I’ll go read all 79 pages of posts… Thanks for the help…

Josh,

Sorry if this was offensive to you but I try to be a man of my word…I said I was going to scream if this question was asked again and I did – and I feel better!

You can go to the search function and type in “license” and it will bring up all of the hudreds of times this has been asked:

…and, BTW, if you are a “novice” by all means read every thread in the forum

Keith,

No problem, I understand how that could be frustrating. I just saw the “Beginners” title for the Forum and I assumed it would be ok. Most of all, I was just looking to find out different opinions on what had worked/not worked for most people.

Josh,

It is Ok…always ask questions here when you need to! But, I had to do what I had to do! LOL!

Most folks agree that it is not necessary for investing but those that have them feel it is a bonus and it can help with access (to the MLS) and they save a few bucks when they buy a listed property.

Disclosure is the only really big issue. It is also one more “learning event” in a lifetime of learning events. Do NOT use it as a stall tactic to not get going until you have your license!
