NOI >= 50% of GSI

Is this true in all cases?

Should I use this as a standard? Are there any other industry standard numbers that I should be aware of?

Hi,

It is gross income (GI) adjusted gross income (AGI-Vacancy adjusted) operating expenses (OE) and net operating income (NOI).

Operating expenses 50%
Net Operating Income 50%

50 / 50 rule!

Residential property (Apartments or Condo mapped or townhouse treated as rentals over 5 units!)

Does the 50% of operating expenses include debt payments?

Hi,

 Debt payments are paid from net operating income.

Got it.

Hi,

What are you meaning when you write - GSI ?

      GR

Revenue. All rent plus whatever extras like coin laundry, vending machines, etc.

Revenue minus expenses = income
