Newbie to Wholesale and Real Estate

Hey everyone!

From what I read, this seems to be a helpful and active site. I am very new to real estate, but young and hungry! I am very interested in Wholesale since I dont have alot of money to buy a house. It seems to be a good way of getting to know the business as well.

I have seen different sites on wholesaling, but they are all trying to sell me their product and its expensive. I am curious if someone can point me to the right direction, to learn a step by step process of wholesaling. Something for Free or non-expensive.

I am in the Dallas-Ft.Worth market and really trying to get some kind of mentor to show me the ropes, but cant seem to find anyone.

Please help!

Google Flop2flipnation or Google Marcel Umphery.

It seems that the panacea for the new real estate investor is wholesaling. The truth is it is quite a bit more difficult than the gurus are telling you. But of course. They are trying to sell you their “secret” techniques. :rolleyes
Take a look at lease options. Much easier to get a homeowner to agree to a Cooperative Assignment than to take a 40% cut in their selling price.

Thanks AJ …

Any good books, videos, etc… about lease options and how to approach it?

Visit your local Real Estate Investors Association and ask around for an established wholesaler that will be your mentor. Local mentors are always best, because they know the real estate market and neighbhoods better then someone who isn’t from that area.
