Do wholesalers ever use real estate agents to find properties to assign? If a lower sale price can be negotiated on a property that needs some repair, would this be a good idea? Do the agents get ticked off if the contract is assigned?
I am sure it happens but my guess is that it is not a popular way to go. If the listing agreement is worth their salt, they would probably recommend to the seller not to accept an assignable contract. Perhaps it would work on occasion on properties that have a high DOM (days on market).
If the market is really slow the’ll do just about anything to sell it including assigning.
Agents want to sell, normall they don’t like assignable contracts.
