Newbie needs advice!!

First I would like to say “Hi!” to everyone.
My wife and I are currently trying to purchase some property that has been forclosed on by the county for delinquent taxes. This property has already went to auction and nobody bid on it, so now it is on the struck off list and a person can bid whatever they want to pay. A friend of mine bought a decent little house this way for $150. My question is this: The property I am bidding on has someone living in it. I do not know if they were the owners or renters. If my bid is accepted how do I get them out?? The property I am speaking of is in Texas.

I am brand new to this, but it seems that there is a lot of money to be made buying these properties this way and reselling them.

i would say if you were to become the new owner

try some kind of a sale to the people If this was not the case then get a evicton notice and serve it and then that will hopefully do it with no futher troubles

Is there anything I really should watch out for, when buying this kind of property? Any advice from people who have bought like this before??
