What are your goals and plans? Why do you want a license? What state are you from? I do not know of any on line courses that are approved for getting your salesman license.

It takes a lot of drive and ambition to get what you want. My daughter know I did not have the money to send her to school and without my knowledge got in contact with a local medical assistant school and got the loans and grants she needed to get her education. I am very proud of her for this as it showed her burning desire to achieve her goals. Do you have that desire.

Yes sir i have that desire. I have always wanted to be in real estate. Ever since i read donald trumps book. My desire is this, i’m 27 yrs old and i meant my better half. I want to make our lives. more financly stable.

i also share that same desire… im 26, new to the real estate field and looking to improve my way of life for my family. just cant figure out which route to go…i.e. fixer upper, flip etc… how did most of the “seasoned vet” on here get started? thanks all…

I started with one little zero down fixer upper to buy and hold. I kept on buying to hold and after it was too late realized the cash flow was not enough to live on with only 50 rental units. You may want to start doing any and all sorts of deals. I just bought 4 duplexes for instance for the cash flow but am getting offers for $10K each profit. The ink is not even dry on the deeds and I am considering flipping them. My suggestion is not look for a method but just find deals and then find a way to do it that will work. LOL

Hey,
My husband was an auto mechanic. We invested in real estate and have done well. You can read about it in my blog below. You are very wise wanting to do something other that automotive. My husband was commision and any chance the boss could give away free repairs it was passed on to the mechanic. Not fair at all. Not to mention no pension. That was why we invested. We had to think of our future. It was the best thing we ever did. He was able to retire at 40 just 4 1/2 years after investing.

Since you’re in automotive you are probably very handy and this will help you in repairs on your property. The more repairs you do yourself, the more cash flow YOU make and you know the job is done right.

I wish you luck in your new venture
