New to short sales and in need of help

I have two deals that came to me today. Both properties are due to foreclose in 7 days. Is it possible to get a short sale done and delay the foreclosure in such short time? If so, how should I go about doing it?

I have a authorization for and the property address. I plan to contact the loss mitigation departments for the lenders and ask for the short sale package. Or should I deal with the attorney who is working the file.

Were I in your shoes I would simply fax the auth to release and tell them you are working on it.

Banks postpone auctions all of the time… usually on the day of the auction.

You also need to get a contract on the property for the price you are willing to pay.
