New RE Investor- Deed in own name?

As a new invester, is it ok to take title in your own name on first few, then later as things start happening form your LLC and can you then transfer to LLC?

I have heard it said you should never, ever take title in your own name. Maybe some clarification?

I would definately take it into the LLC. Especially if your just starting, if the deal goes ary, you are not personally realiable.
