I have two newbie questions.

  1. Who is Recontrust Co NA? Are they a wholesaler? I see their name on a lot of Default notices as Trustee or Beneficiary.
  2. In California: How much time is there between Default Notice and Auction?

  1. They’re probably a foreclosure trustee. They specialize in the foreclosure process. You probably found a substitution of trustee right before the NOD.

  2. Minimum times:

Missed Payments → NOD → 3 months → NTS [notice of (trustee) sale] → 21 days → sale.
